As he marks his 40th Birthday, Mr Tayo Olawoye, a philanthropist and business tycoon has inaugurated his foundation, Tayo Olawoye Foundation in OsunState, as he promised to give back to the society.
While giving thanks to God for sparing his life to celebrate his 40th Birthday, the celebrant, Tayo Olawoye said he has been looking towards the day to give back to the society, noting that it has not been easy, but he kept on pushing.
In relation to the set target of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN). The Tayo Olawoye Foundation is founded to partner with the Goal 17 of the SDGs 2030 to say No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, quality education amongst others.
Tayo Olawoye Foundation is a registered NGO in Nigeria with CAC registration number, 7208633, in compliance with the Special Control Units Against Money Laundering (SCUML) issued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria.
The guest speaker who delivered lecture on the impact of NGO in humanitarian services to the world, did a justice and ellaborated a partnership with the state government in meeting the sustainable development goals of the United Nations by 2030.
The representative of the Governor emphasized on the readiness of the state government to partner with the Foundation at all times as Mr Governor office is open for collaboration.
The representative of the Governor delivered the good will messages accordingly, as he charged well meaning individuals in the country to emulate what Mr Tayo Olawoye is doing, noting that their are many ways to give back to the society, sayingit is not until you have millions in your account.
Among those who attended the programme were His Execellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who represented by his Personal Secretary, Directors of Osun state ministries, Rotary Club of GRA, Osogbo, and many others.
The NGO was launched by the Personal Secretary to the state Governor, as the Operational office was also opened and dedicated for use by the dignitaries.
